i tried searching this and couldnt find an exact answer, i have a 96 jdm supra and i was messing around with a honda on the highway, and he flew past me because i did loose power right around 112mph:mad:. i really would like to get rid of it and i just dont know how to or what really to do. any advice would be appreciated.

Where you able to keep going even with the loss of power at 112? Are you auto or manual? I usually lose steam on a flat road around that speed as far as acceleration with my auto 4.28 or so rear end. I've been able to get to 144 in mine mostly bone stock but that took forever.

its a manual and i could keep going, just couldnt go any faster then that speed

Yeah the JDM is around 180kph. I dont know whether its a "soft limiter" as such though, I guess I always figured it would be like the rev limiter that is a full cut of power.

Delimited mine with a Blitz Power Meter SJ. It's a J-Spec NA AT and was limited to 112 mph.
The J-Spec NA is limited by the speed signal. It's the pink cable on the ECU.

The Power Meter just interups the speed signal. Hope this helps. Otherwise just let me know.
