Finally got a chance to run my NA-t at the track, the silver supra is a lot faster then it seems, its making much more power then my 450whp, just has traction issues, as does his brother in the dark IS300

this was my first time at the track, by the 9th and final run i managed to run 12.011 @ 117.74 on M/T ET street tires running 20psi b/c im running radials up front. next month im definatly going to hit 11's

I figured your car would run in the mid 11's if you were makeing 450hp


If i recall correctly my car was running 12.7 at 112 mph makeing 340 hp at 13.5 psi

oh its definatly going to see atleast 11.90 next time i just need to lower my tire pressure, dont forget im running mt et streets in the rear with the 18" radial tire up front, so i dont want to make it too dangerous to run the car. so i'll drop from 20-22 psi to about 18, maybe even 16, but i dont know if i would be comfortable with anything lower then 16. here is the slip, i dont have a picture of it, but here is the stats from the time slips:

its an NA-t makin pretty big power

wont say exactly how much but more than 500

it also has the 6spd swap with the factory rear end i belive

What's the turbo setup or motor setup on the IS?

Also the times you were running i'm guessing that's on the stock turbos?

im not sure what set up justin is running in the IS300... but the tranny is a v160 last time i checked.

no im not on stock turbos, im NA-t with the boostlogic stage 2 kit and a T61. im running super low compression with the 2.5mm hg though..thats gona change not too long from now. so with the compression at 8.1:1ish im spooling like i have a damn t71 in there, lol.


i'll try to line up with John in the silver supra next time, i as well think it would be a damn good race. That car ran an 11.90 last time it was out at the track on the final pass, but he just struggles so much for traction its not even funny

and yea, we were all really fortunate to get taht many runs in. i could have had about 11 or 12 if my car didnt overheat and we had to tend to it for a while.

but the reason is that this is a "street race" event that the cops put on and all of the cars have to be "street legal" lol, i dont think you can say that for mine but things like tires and stuff have to be D.O.T. approved, so the big dragsters cant come out, this time around theere was only like 50 cars, and by the end, i was running almost back to back...which sucked for my engine heat, lol.

i cannot wait untill next month!
