And this person only has a rating of 1,
it might be a hi-jacked account.
It's so easy to trick ebay newbies into giving you their password.
big scam where theives steal an accout (with positive rating) and use it to sell high dollar items.
I've gotten over a dozen emails that look like an ebay email (EVEN has @ebay.com, in the address)
asking to "confirm" my password, in order to maintain my account or it would be revoked or banned, or some other BS......
"No, it's not a scam. My father purchased the turbo kit from the
original seller, and we have had it for a little over a week now. He
purchased it for my IS300 thinking that it wouldn't be too much of a
problem to bolt up to.....in essence, it is going to take too much
modification to work, so we are selling it under my ebay name to
recover some of the money.
I bid $900 on it got out bidded already, dont know if I will bid again...
I am still up in the air...F max kit or daveH kit???
Hmmm, anybody in florida able to go and check it out in person?
Tix from KCI to Ft. Lauderdale are about $140 right now and Budget has a special on renting an economy car for $14 a day. And I *know* there's a motel-6, super 8 or something like that in the area for $40 or so a night. For that amount, I'd take a weekend vacation to florida to pay for it/pick it up in person. It'd only be $100 more than shipping would be and a little beach time in december would be nice! And if it turns out to be a scam, then no money changes hands and you get a little getaway out of the deal.
