Hey all,

Looking a shop to some repairs done. I live in Roanoke, VA so all the shops around here look at the car and ask me who the hell makes it. :wtf: Def not somewhere I want to take it for work. Looking stay as close as possible, but willing to drive 2-3 hours for the right shop.

I've read a lot about Speed Innovations when Brad Mayo was there. Then I read another post that said he kept some dood's car for like 8 months and moved. Is Speed Innovations still a good shop? Also read a little bit about Turbo Tune.

Any info appreciated. :bigthumb:

haha I hear ya...my car's black...there's another girl somewhere in Roanoke with a black NA and an older fellow that lives about 10-15 minutes from me with a 97 TT. Very nice car.

I took it to Sports Car Clinic since they said they deal with 'high-end' cars. After that I get an outrageous bill that includes labor for prob doing research on how to put the six speed in reverse :)

I had my car worked on at speed innovations, and they seemed to be a pretty good shop. I had a single and a bunch of other little things installed (vpc, gauges, etc..). My work was done back when Mayo was there, and he did a lot of the work before he chnaged and moved back to Tenn. The other guys there seemed like they knew what they were doing though when I was standing around chatting and observing.

Ok , lets put this in perspective .

They are a good shop and universal for car repair and modifying , but they are No supra specialists . That is what Brad brought to that shop at the time .

I wanted to clear that issue, still very reputable shop.
