Sorry the title should be "NEED" not ned


if I install my down pipe is it needed that I install the BCC? Will i hit fuel cut? If I dont hook up the OBDII fooler and throw a check engine light, will this hurt performance? I know in some cars CEL cause the performance to be dropped.
Please help quickly, i kinda have a dead line

I dont believe you HAVE to install a BCC if you install a DP. I have been in TTs with just a DP with nothing else.

With the DP, high flow exhaust intake etc. your gonna need the BCC cause those mods allow you to run higher boost. I installed a airfliter, dp and exhaust, and I can't even go over 80 without hitting fuel cut (before the bcc @ wot). So yes install it, it will only take about 30mins.
