Alright guys.. in the process of rebuilding a 88 supra 7m-gte

Just got my clutch kit in and now its got me thinking..

Are the trannies on the gte and ge the same?
Are the clutch forks interchangeable also the slave cylinders?

who ever had my car before me took everything apart and now im missing half my shit.. so i gotta play it by ear to see what i have and dont have

Wow guys comes on. Help him out....

Ok to answer your question the turbo model supras and the non turbo supras transmissions are totally different.the turbo model is a r154 which is capable of withstanding beating up to 700 horsepower. Now the w58 which all nonturbo supras brought can only handle horsepower up to I believe 450 horsepower. Also the flywheels,clutches and all that other good stuff is totally different..just get a r154 tranny and put all the things on it and you will be good for future projects for more power. :)

thats all i needed to hear :)

which also sucks because i cant find a turbo model for parts here :( ive found a non-turbo for basically pocket change but the bodys all rusted
