Most boost gauges read both, pressure & vac.

Is the vac-ability important?

The 'price' for getting a unit with both is that a portion of the PSI 'real estate' is reduced to acomodate the vac part.

Any thoughts?

Thx,

they sell boost gauges without the vacuum portion. However having a vaccum/boost gauge is having two gauges in one wehn not on boost your car is NA. For onee thing you can use the vaccuum gauge to moniter fuel ue the lighter you step on th elodu pedal the higher the vacuum the better the gas milage. for anthother it can tell if you have a vacuum leak. If you don't want the extra information just buy a straight boost gauge.

Hey guys, thx much for the response.

How about the turbo timer that also shows boost (I believe it's Blitz)? Is that good enough? Not sure if it holds peak, though.

Thx,
