i recently picked up a 95 targa that needed some tlc and I'm currently in the process of restoring the exterior. i just scored a rear bumper which leads me to a new bridge to cross. the previous owner must have cut the quarters for some kind of wide body or something i don't know :dunno: . i was hoping some of you guys can lead me in the right directions with advice or ideas on how to make this quarter acceptable again!!

this is the only pic for now but i can add more. this is on both sides of the car

any feedback is appreciated!

Welcome,

The right way would be to install a new quarter panel. Otherwise you would need to have someone make the section of quarter panel thats not there, weld it, grind it, fill it, sand it, paint it. Either way its a fair amount of work.

Was a Veiside rear bumper installed maybe? I don't know why someone would cut it if that's the Carla's but that's my guess considering you have a new rear bumper there as well. As said above he confirmed what you were already thinking.
