Just received this bushings set in the mail from Marlin Crawler. I got the top one on fine, but I can't fit the bottom one in. The two little cylinder things where you insert the shifter are in the way. How can I fit it in? I've tried using a hammer, pretty much everything, it just won't fit. What did you guys do to get it to work?

If it wont bend enough to get in there you will have to pull the pins out gently, put it in, and reinsert the pins. Try not to drop them in the tranny! lol

PS the pins push out from the sides

Do they have to be loosened or can they just be pushed with force?

marlin has install directions on his site.

You put it upside down on the pins, then rotate it around the pins, and into place. They put a notch in them for this reason. Look on marlin's site.. its on there.. i've seen it.
