the easiest way i found for the dipstick, drop the sump, get a hammer... smack it out

i'm assuming ur talkin bout the oil pump housing... undo the 24mm? bolt in the center of the unit then give it a bit of a wiggle and she should come of

hth :)

shit! I knew that bolt had to come off
Now I have to go buy a socket for my 1/2 breaker bar. I tried using a regular ratchet and hammering it on that bolt, but it didn't buge, not even a milimetrical turn. I was pissed. So, I can just hit the bottom of the dip stick tube on it's inside the pan end, and it will pop out from the inside out? That soudns easy, I will try it tomorrow, unless someone corrects it and says I wil lruin it that way.
Thanks for the tips :)
