Need help...
ATTN: Car Audio Experts... I need some help!
Here’s my predicament… I am getting ready to install the HKS CAMP system into my car. In order to display the CAMP data I need to install an LCD screen in my car. I would like to install a head unit with an integrated LCD screen since I can’t really find a convenient and/or functional place to mount a stand-alone screen in the MKIV.
Here’s the problem… I would like to be able to display the CAMP data while simultaneously listening to my AM/FM radio or CD player. In other words, I don’t want my AM/FM radio or CD player to be disabled every time I switch the input to an auxiliary video input.
Here is a list of my requirements for a head unit:
1. LCD screen
2. AM/FM radio with integrated in-dash CD player
3. The ability to play burned CD’s
4. The ability to display auxiliary video inputs without disrupting the audio signal from the AM/FM radio or the CD player
Do any of you car audio buffs out there have any recommendations in terms of head units that will work for me?
