i took my block out the other day to a local shop and had them machine the blocks deck.. anyway, today i was putting the pistons in it and as i was turning the motor over i noticed the piston was a little above the deck. now They removed 13 thou off the block and last year they romover 3 thou of the head. I got a full headgasket kit from VICTOR. all factory replacement stuff. so me and my teacher (iam in motor vehical repair) looked at it and figured after the headgasket was on there it would be fine. i am ganna have a nice compresion ratio, and iam ganna have to retard the ignition. Iam also using ARP head bolts.

so if anyone has ever seen this, or knows what iam into can you give me a little info on if i am in crap or not. the motors bottom end is all together and ready to go but i still gatta put the top-end together.
