89 supra turbo - 7M-GTE - won't start up

Motor has been replaced with another 7M-GTE with lower miles and it ran fine at the time. it has been sitting in the driveway ever since (about 2 years give or take) and i need some help/tips on what to check/look at since it wont start up anymore.

i dont know a whole lot about this motor but any advice will be helpful

i have changed the spark plugs and a few of the coil packs

but im also assuming the gas thats been in the tank all this time is bad?

make sure the battery is charged

first thing you should do is drop the tank empty it and fill with new gas.
does it crank?
does it click when trying to start like a bad battery or does it just do nothing? your starter could be frozen.

yep its charged, even swapped it out with the one in my other car which is like a month old

cranks up fine, sounds like it wants to start but doesn't

whenever a car has been sitting for a while you should do a few things before cranking it
fresh battery
plugs
fresh gas
check coolant
check oil
check for faulty hoses. etc

If the cars a turbo, after you try what the other guys said, if it still wont start. seriously, just start jiggling connectors(don't unplug them) just shake them a little bit, especially this plug

well,emptied the gas tank, put new gas in still didnt start so i ended up dropping the gas tank and low and behold there was rust all inside the tank which was brand new when they installed it, fuel pump(new also when installed) was dead, so going to the toyota or the parts warehouse near my house tomorrow to order some new stuff and put it all back together and see if it starts up then

ill inform you guys if i need anymore help
