For all those following this "mishap" I am very close to starting another thread on "spilling the beans" on the seller.

I sent him a PM on May 17th,2005 also left him a voicemail.

2 Days later I sent him an E-mail and left him another voicemail.

tried mutliple times the past couple days to call him. and now his PM box is full

I still have not heard ANYTHING from him. I even agreed to Take less money than I paid him to just get this problem to go away and get my money back.

At this time he has ALL my money and I have nothing and the most recent time he has contacted me was May 11th,2005 by PM.

This is getting pretty bad considering this persons "stature" here on this forum. I would have at least expected a phone call for an update. :dunno: . I even left him a voicemail with my tool free work number in case he could not for some reason call long distance.

Maybe he is just on a month long vacation or something. :dunno:

I offered to take less back because he had a buyer for $350 less than what I paid him. I told him to take it and give me $200 less and I would chalk it up to a learning experiance. I would lose money and so would he. I am at the point though I will need all of it back. At this point I have nothing :sadwavey:

He got a check from Manic the other day and monday said he sent it by mail. So, we'll see if I get it shortly and if it will go threw. It wasn't even a third of it though but I guess it is a start.

I've left 2 messages for Shiv and IM'd his phone for him to call me and I haven't heard back yet. I have alson called and talked to Manic and he just told me he is working on it. :dunno: I am still owed $2550.00 of the agreed upon $3550.00 refund.

For all following this thread... The owner of the shop where my car is at decided the other day he doesn't want to work on cars anymore. He just wants to do fabrication work. My motor, which is now rebuilt, is sitting on his shop floor with all my other parts. The car is in pieces all over his shop and he told me to pick it up and find another shop to finish it!!!!!

Can you believe this SHIT!!! I can't get a break.

I have been talking to Ryan23 and he is going to be the one working on it then however he is kind of booked right now. I have to wait till he clears out a car or to to get me in. Thank you Ryan for stepping up!

Josh, I can't say I've ever really met you, but reading your ordeal here on SF and talking with Mike, that just sucks dude, I'm really sorry. I just can't believe Andy would just stop working on stuff all the sudden like that, he's such a standup guy. Maybe he's going some other stuff going on that's is interfering with turning wrenches? Either way, I know Andy wouldn't just bale on your without a good reason, so don't take it personally.

You’ll get your car done be happy once again. I know the feeling of a project taking WAY longer then you expect...been there. Just bare with it, and before you know it you'll be on top again dude.

I'd say from the sounds of things, he was "Bailed on" from the moment the motor popped. Having a motor sit on a floor waiting to be put together for 4 weeks isn't exactly rushing a deadline...

In the end - Nearly anyone can turn a wrench, and do so well. Not so many can do so and keep priorities straight.
