Alright, i think this is gonna be one of those love/hate things. Here's how they began their life.

and here is what the outboard caliper looks like before getting clear powder over the chrome mylar.

even though i upgraded brakes i want to keep this look. so what do you think?

what would be the best way to polish the hardware on the brakes?

are you talking about the lines, and fittings ?
ill most likely just chrome the hard lines, but I am worried if chrome the bridge bolts that connect the two halves of the caliper together i may run into problems with them flaking under torque after a while. so what i would be looking to do would be to either chrome only the head of the bolt (don't know if that is even possible) or polish the heads of the bolts to match the Mylar. any thoughts? Thanks.

Very nice setup!! You could do a high mirror polish yourself! I would try that first...
this is most like where i will start, i just need to do some more research on this sort of application.

There are many metal finishing companies that can treat and apply all sorts of hard coatings, zinc, cadium or black oxide
actually cadmium plating was something that i had been looking into because once plated it still holds up under torque.

Those logos are a little oversized I think.

- If the bolts are SS or aluminum, have them polished. If they are mild steel, get them chromed or powdercoated.

- Get new bolts that are SS and polish them yourself or have them polished for $5 at a local place, would take only 5 minutes.

I'd polish instead of chrome/powder because the latter two could flake when having torque applied to them. Polished is just bare metal.

i was of the same opinion on the logos, the larger ones are a little smaller than the rear deck logo.

Thanks for the input on the hardware as well, i might have to finish up this project next time i get some stateside leave.

I think I'd change the logo size, add the underline like stock, and install the hardware. I'd be curious to see the difference. What color wheels?

Stock style
