Seems a little too good to be true. Plus, wouldn't you need a different filter than any currently made for the Supra? And wouldn't it kind of defeat the point to have larger piping if you don't have a larger MAF, throttlebody, etc.?

 

That looks like rice. Go back and search for the custom intake box some guy made, and whip one of those up =)

got 50 km on now, actually gonna pick it up tomorrow and do a lap or two around perimiter. everything looks good expect new pics very soon, and more mods am cooking up (electric water pump )

Well don't dirtbikes and snowmobiles have expansion chambers on the exhaust in help exhaust flow? Wouldn't this be kinda the same thing but on intake?

 

that thing is a complete load of shit...Matrix makes them. You cant really get more velocity when half the piping is the same size...it doesnt work. trust me.
Its not new either...been around for like 4 years.

 

although the idea might be correct... i am 99.8% sure this design is not. . Also notice that 90 degree straight bend, that may cause air flow distruption, hence exhaust pipes are mandrel bent. I think an ideal velocity intake would start off with a 4 inch mouth and linearly decrease as it moves into the intake manifoldHowever the processing and time vs hp gains is no where near worth it. You guys are better off with a intake adapter or a 3 inch pipe
