I just had my 08 Toyota Highlander (48K) inspected today, and I was given a
paper stating as of MAY 1st, any vehicle 95 and older are now exempt from
NJ inspections. Basically, no tail pipe inspections anymore. If you are going to expire prior to that, they want you to still have it inspected. If your sticker is still good keep it on there till it expires, after that remove it. SO damn happy to hear this I have the copy of the paper , Im sure you guys can go online and find this info somewhere. :)

I use to hate nj but they finally did something right haha. Glad my car is 95 and when i finish this swap i wont have to worry about trying to find places to pass my car for emissions. Also here is the link with the info

This is so awesome. Jersey sucks for a lot of reasons. Inspection is def not one of them!
