the front end seems to be a marmite thing, i love it but lots dont :)

the carbon fibre panel is just a custom made piece that shields the huge air filter from engine heat

Looks like a nice build, congratulations.

I'm glad to see your hood louvers since I'm thinking about doing something like that and it's rare to see pics of a louvered hood on a MkIV. So yours gives me a bit of perspective and ideas.

I like the front lower lip, sideskirts, and rear treatment, but I don't like that front bumper.

nice car!

front bumper would look better if it didn't have the 6 holes in it.

^^^a rectangular opening that followed the lines of the bumper, and grey/silver mesh instead of black would look better.

What the hell is marmite??? isnt that some kind of fake peanut butter stuff or something like that??? but hell man, if you like the car, thats all that matters.

anyhow, so you are saying that the carbon fiber piece is a one off??? any other photos or details of it? ive been doing some airbox stuff and im always interested to see other related stuff.

Marmite is a yeast spread that is brown in color. It's got a very strong, salty (i.e. savory) taste that everyone either loves or hates. My mother-in-law is from just outside Glasgow (immigrated here in the 70s), so I've had my fair share of the stuff when visiting the UK. No, I don't particularly care for it but I do love their pizza suppers from the local chippy!!
