Currently driving a 99 4 cylinder automatic Accord LX with 52k miles. Its mods include some light cosmetics, new tail lights, 2 alpine 12"s in the back, dash mp3/cd player, keyless entry and 17" enkeis with phantom tires (not alot). Interior near perfect, exterior about 7.5-8 out of ten. I would like to look into getting a supra instead. I would have to trade in or sell privatly sell the accord, and with that money and what i have in the bank to spend on another car would have about 16-17kish. At any rate, with that kind of funding, what kind of supra could i get, year and options wise? I was looking at some 94/95ish ones with TT not horribly out of price range, but some later ones with out turbo are even less expensive. I would like to start out with a TT one, it would save me some work and money, but would it be easiear just to get a non turbo one and have it custom done? Just looking for any help for that kind of price range on what i could do best on - thanks.

Learn how to drive stick and then get an NA.

Expect to spend 20K and do not bother with the NA if you care about power. If racing does not matter to you, then yes, save the money and get the NA. Trying to make the NA fast is a mistake.
