what would be the next level up when it comes to getting away from the ct26 that i could buy on the market?.....im mean serious....the next level up..like meaning..basically the same turbo...but not much of a difference

The turbo you are describing here is an upgraded ct-26. the sp61gt is not basically the same turbo. You'll need to upgrade fuel.

upgrade the CT26? or do you have it already upgraded?

i dont even have a ct26....later im going to want to do te 1/2 na-t...ad i dont want an old worn ct26...id like to buy a new turbo...but i cant buy anything to big....i nee a turbo as close to stock as possible

You can get a turbo then send it to Performance Techniques (I don't know the website or number off the top of my head) and they can do a rebuild for you. You can get it rebuilt to stock specs or get an upgrade. The most popular upgrades are 57 trim and 60 trim. Theres alot of info about this type of stuff on SF and SM.

i would have thought one step up fromt he ct-26 would either be an upgraded ct-26 or a sp57, sound performance sells the sp turbos
