My heater controls are not working and I plugged in my friends and his don't work either. I have power going to the plug. Can someone tell me something to try?

Have you checked all the fuses in the drivers side kick panel, and also is the orange plug pushed all the way into the A/C amplifier box on top of the stereo.

How much of your A/C did you remove? I know this may seem obvious, but if you removed your blower motor, etc, then I wouldn't expect anything, hot or cold, to be blowing out your vents.

When I first got into modding cars in 01, I did the whole "remove the A/C" deal, not cuz I needed to for any reason, I drove an 01 Galant, but cuz I didn't know better, lol, well, that winter, I went to put my defrost on my windshield, and sure enough, I removed too much "A/C" and lost my heat and window defrost also. Live and learn, lol.

I only removed the compressor,condensor and the lines nothing inside the car.

I was going to say you fried the panel (which I read about in the thread about modding your controls with white LED's in the ICE sections)..but if your friends doesn't work also, but you DO have power to the plug...then it sounds like some relays that the controls switch elsewhere on the car...

did you remove the little electrical boxes on top of the radio in the dash if so thats whats wrong those control the ac/heater.

No I have not verified the ground and no lights light up at all.
