You have to be logged in to your account and also I think there may be a 100 post minimum, although I've seen plenty of people in there with well below that so I'm not positive on that one.

There are a certain number of posts and/or time you have to have been on the forum.

I wish they would get rid of it. This would keep the true supra people here and get rid of the rest. Server could support the search feature then(assuming thats the cause of of no search)

ahh, yeah, he's been on here a while... he has like half as many posts as i have though, so i guess its just the time. but yeah, i was looking through it, it did seem pretty "off topic" which could probably just go in a forum site of its own.. doesnt need to be on here, i just didnt know why i wasnt able to get there... i was thinking that like i had some half assed account thing that i didnt know if there were other features i wasnt getting because i had some like weak sauce account or if there were upgrades or whatever. thanks for the input.

but wouldnt it still be a wise move to just resurrect the "search" function anyways? isnt it killing the website to have the samethings posted over and over? ive seen ALOT of repeat threads, and i've even repeated some myself just because i wasnt able to search and didnt have time to look at every single page of every single thread to try to find what i was looking for.

It probably had a query\string type of search where it kept each search in its database and overloaded the space after a while.

If we stop off topic supra value will drop over night. Supra's will no longer be talk about at countless lunch tables in high school. Which in the end will be the death of Supra and the forum as we know it. With out supra trolls this forum would not be what it is today.:nono: Anyway i vote ban it for good and bring back search...

I use offtopic while I wait for responses for my questions in the other parts of the forums though =[

off topic is awesome. I spend a solid 5 hours a day there while I'm at work.

If OT has to be done away with to bring back search, do it.

I spend a good amount of time in OT at work but I would not be sorry to see it go if I could use the search function again.

The yahoo/google search does not work very well for me.
