The car is an 87 auto turbo supra with about 225,xxxkm on it.
Replaced and rewired the back knock sensor but still pulling code 52. Now I know this will make the car run rich and retard timing, but the car will not start now. When I first started the car it ran smooth idled smooth drove it around fine, left it idling for 30mins to see if anything changes. From intial start up exhaust was smokey but cleared up after it warmed up.
Turned it off and came back 15 mins later and it started up fine but rough idled, I'd try to give it some gas but it stayed around 500rpm. Put her in gear and it still running rough I'd put the gas to the floor and nothing. Then it started to stall on me,haven't been able to get her to start since. I looked up the KS write up and will be re-wiring the knock sensors. Question is would bad KS or shorts in the wire prevent start up? Anything else I should look into or test?
Thanks

replaced AFM with a known working one and the problem didn't go away.
after I got the car back I pulled the spark plugs and 1,2,3,6 plugs were covered in oil which could explain the no start. Started pulling everything apart to get to all the plugs and found my PCV was plugged up from the throttle body. Replaced that hose and re did my cam cover gaskets. While torquing down the cam covers I on the head stripped threads so had to drill it, tap it and put a heli coil in. It was right up against the fire wall had to move the harness around to get the drill lined up right. Hopefully this solves the spark plugs getting fouled up with oil. Replaced spark plugs and wires.
