Non-interference (or really close)PICS

I don't remember if the old pistons came out of the block. Take a look at the pics---

I can fit a fairly thick piece of paper under the file because the piston comes out of the block that far.

Can anyone tell me if this is normal? Does anyone have pics similiar to these?

The block was shaved .009 and the head has been done twice, .006 the first time and .005 the second. Total of .020 which is only .5mm.

I am putting in a 2mm Head gasket.

you are fine. my new motor did the exact same thing. you have to accout for the headgasket and shit like that. i'm running a 1.4mm head gasket with no problems.

werd, mine was .015 all the way across the board. And i used a 1.4mm HG as well, AND had a crazy amount shaved off the head ;) You'll be just peachy.
