WOW what a weekend! I want to thank everyone who came out and joined our group! We had the nicest sports cars of any group at the show. It was great seeing everyone and meeting new faces!
Here are some of the main highlights of our group at the show:

- I did interviews with the 'SPEED' channel for 'TunerVision' and 'G4' channel for 'Street Fury' about our group and a 2nd interview for the Saleen S7, so be sure to look for your car on those shows (about 2 weeks until 'TunerVision' and early 2007 for 'Street Fury')

- Our group won second place for most entries with 47 total (about half were MKIV Supra Turbos, with a good bit of Vipers, RX7's, Saleens, and several other sports cars)

- Cars in our group won the following places:
Supra '93-98 Street Class: 1st place - Jeremy Blackwell '97 Supra (we are selling this car); 2nd place - Phillip Moo '95 Supra (we sold this car)
Supra '93-98 Custom Class: 2nd place - Andy Wood '94 Supra widebody; 3rd place - Justin Rush '95 Supra (we sold)
Asian Sport Coupe ALL MAKES, wild class: Mike Smith '94 Supra widebody
RX7 '93-96 Street Class: 1st place - David Payne '94 RX7 (we sold)
RX7 '93-96 Custom Class: 2nd place - Adam Goode
Sport Coupe/Corvette 84-Up/Viper/Ford GT/Prowler/etc Street Class: 1st place - Travis McBay '03 Saleen S7; 2nd place - Jared Pink '06 Viper Coupe 1st Edition (we are selling), 3rd place - Jack Bean '97 Viper supercharged (we are selling, not on our website yet)
Mustang '05-up Custom class: 3rd place - Brian Jones '06 Mustang

Next year, we're going to put on an even bigger and better show with another 20'x10' of extra tent room, more fans and chairs, a bigger reserved section for us, and pretty much more of everything! Thanks to Saleen for the S7, and Team Ford/AutoNation for bringing two new supercharged Saleen Mustangs. I look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
Here are some pictures from the weekend:

Here you will see a picture I took from on top of the camper of the entire row we had reserved for our group. We had the entire row except a few spots at the end and still had cars having to park perpendicular to rows; we'll have two full rows for 90 cars next year):

I had a good time as well, not much on the nopi part but the social part instead!
Glad I could support speedforsale, after everything they have done for me!

Dont know how I scraped up third in custom, cause there were some nice supra's there, wasnt really there to show, just to get in and hang with you all!
We all looked great and I was told by several people, that there was know reason to leave that section to look around cause everything cool was right there!lol....pretty funny!

Dan

It was upped just for the event, a clause to carry the beast =).

I enjoyed meeting everyone, hopefully I will remember most of you, I am aweful with names. Maybe next year my car will make it, and prove that there are a few decent MK III's out in the world. Lots of beautiful cars, and.... well, there were a few beautiful women, but more beautiful cars...

Jared im still mad you dont answer your cell..

Answer my cell? Does that mean you did call? I had a motorola that ate voice mails, I got into alot of trouble thanks to that phone. I know have a pocket pc that randomly mutes, lots o fun. We'll get your car fixed, take it to Commerce, have you ride along once, so you can "see a launch" then you go and do it with your car.

And the S7 was awesome, You can get one for a cool easy 500k, twin turbo for 750k, or spring for the 1000hp version that goes for 875k.

Oh, and a neat tidbit of information. That S7, as in that car that was at the show, was the first car to set a speed record higher then the McLaren F1, the F1 was reworked, got the record, then the Twin Turbo S7 took it back. So you all got to see a historical machine =)

Wait, Jared, you own that Viper, or you're just brokering it?

Anyways, looks like a blast! Wish I could have made it. I'll do what I can to help support you guys up there next year!

By the way, no Supra Shootout this year???

Jared entered the Viper so he'd get two tickets and a good parking spot.

Supra Shootout this year will be a different date, since Talladega Grand Prix Raceway is closed until next year for expansion. We are going to try to integrate SupraShootout with the Road Atlanta Panoz track day on Dec 1-3, and have a car show in the parking lot with maybe a mobile dyno if they'll allow it. I'll have more info shortly on this matter....

180pix.com will be there snapping off all kinds of shots of each vehicle on the track at the car show, and maybe the dyno if all goes well with that!
Should be another fun event!

Well it's official, we got 2nd place for most entries in our group with 47!

sweet dog sweet!

So do we each get a brand new car?

Its pretty cool that we got second, cause you would think that some civic groups would be in the top 10...and thats it...well maybe an SRT4 group to!

I emailed Road Atlanta/Panoz today. If that doesn't work out, we'll either do a NICE Deal's Gap meet, or we'll do a big Supra/FD RX7/Z32 300ZX meet early next year at Talladega/Steele. Either way, we'll have a good time! I used to live near Deal's Gap and have ran it many times, and will try to get us a local hotel discount/etc if we wind up doing the event there...this year will be up in the air...

Wow, you're lucky...

Anyways, I was gonna try to make SS this year, since I planned on making a trip to Deal's Gap sometime soon, anyways.
Coleman - drive on up, enjoy the mountains! You can do it! :)
