The problem with NOS is that it adds a bunch of possible complications. You have to be meticulous about everything, from bottle pressure to how you're using it. For every person I know who has blown a Supra motor under normal conditions, I can probably name at least five people who have blown their motors due to complications with spray. Even some people who have been spraying for years and know everything about it - from things clogging the lines to intercooler hoses popping off causing NOS backfires to low RPM hits shooting pistons through the block, it always seems to be due to the spray.
If it was a drag race only car, I wouldn't worry about it. But if it's a daily driver, I'd make sure to consider it very carefully before doing it, and be sure to maintain everything with all due respect. And keep that money for a rebuild budgeted...
