Nobody defines the terms "wretched excess" and "gilding the lily" quite like Novitec. Whereas countless other aftermarket tuners make their mark by transforming ordinary road cars into fire-breathing monsters, Novitec starts with the already-hottest-performing cars to grace black asphalt and then endeavors to improve upon them. In this case, the German tuning house is improving upon its own improvements with the Novitec Rosso Ferrari F430 Bi-Compressor Evoluzione.

"Evoluzione" is the magic word in both the Ferrari and Novitec houses, denoting the ludicrous taken to the extreme. (Think of insane examples like the Ferrari 288 GTO Evoluzione and you're on the right track.) In this case, the latest release from Novitec Rosso starts with their previous twin-supercharged 636-horsepower F430 and raises the stakes by an additional 20 horses, bringing total output up to an Enzo-rivaling 656hp.

In addition to the power spike – resulting from the twin Rotrex superchargers, intercoolers and remapped ECU – Novitec arms its monstrous creation with a full aerodynamic package, wheel and tire upgrade, bigger brakes, beefed-up suspension and the works. If you're the kind of customer who'd be interested in improving upon a Ferrari in the first place, chances are you'd likely be up for re-doing the interior, and Novitec offers a full range of custom leather retrofits that will turn the rare into the positively unique.

Enzox, you never cease to amaze me man. You always provide information on the right kinds of vehicles. And this bad boy here is right in every sense of the word. Ever since I first laid eyes on the rosso red Novitec 360, I fell in love with the company. This just shows how they keep upping the ante on their vehicles. I just keep praying that they'll get their hands on a 599 GTB and make it even more beautiful than it already is, if such a thing is possible.

BTW, do you have any information on the Hamann 599? I'd love to see a thread on that beauty. Thanks again for another great thread.

Josh

edit: Found the Hamann 599 GTB and wasn't that impressed. The front lip and side skirts ruined the clean flow of the car for me. Rims are sexy as anything though.

exactly! the white diffuser looks like crap.
They probably did that to make the car seem lower to the ground. If there's a large black area on the bottom of the rear end, and a large bright white area at the top, the eye will go to the lighter areas first. Having people look towards the top half of the vehicle without regard to the bottom (black hides details and shape) would make it aesthetically taller than it is.

Even though I'm pretty sure it's not in their design philosophy, I'd love to see Novitec build a stripped down, carbon bodied, twin- supercharged F430. If that were to happen a winning combination could be had. Just imagine a Challenge Stradale and the Novitec merging together. Heaven.

I'd have one...with no spoiler, and the rear diffuser in black. Tails look nice, but I like them more in red.
