Up to this point my odometer has been counting fine and with no problem, that I have seen. I noticed the other day though that it has began to start and stop. I noticed this the other day when I went to go set my trip to figure out gas mileage and after about 5 miles of driving the trip only said 1 mile and was not counting at the time I looked. It soon started back counting like normal a few minutes down the road.

What could be the possible causes for this? and how should I go about fixing it?

Thanks,
Mike

I did search the forum, many times. I ALWAYS search before posting questions, and I not only search on here but I search on google as well. I post if I have failed to find it else where....Thanks for your help bro, I really appreciated the useful answer...

to everyone one else who replied, I will check and try to redo the solder if it needs fixing. I guess its a common problem. Can someone help me find the thread that RougeSupra is talking about? I cant seem to find it.

Thanks,
Mike

The write-up for soldering is actually over at mkiv.com. Don't let RogueSupra get to you, he just likes to increase his post count by telling everyone to search first. I think that guy has several "Search First" tattoos and may even shout "Search First!!!" prior to climax.

I've been having the same issue and am browsing, using the search function, and haven't turned up an almighty thread on this forum. Good luck getting it all together.
