has anyone had any problems with the oil dip stick tube not going into the block all the way so it is loose and it leaks oil?

not really. its a tight/interference fit. it should just tap right into place w/ a hammer, making a leak-free seal.

mine didnt have an O-ring?... lemme check my other block.

ahhhhh, now i remember. the tube uses the o-ring as previously mentioned. i was thinking of the dipstick tube socket which presses into the block w/o the use of an O-ring.
