Hey guys,

Hopefully you can help me explain this mystery. I took the car out for a spin today and afterwards I popped the hood to check a few things out. I noticed some oil around the horn of the BOV (aftermarket GReddy, one with the purple top). It looks like the BOV might be spraying oil through the horn? Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Chris

Positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) fumes are vented into the intercooler system. It's an "emmissions control thing" and it sucks. You could install a catch can which collects the fumes and condenses them to oil. Greddy sells a kit, or you could do your own. Wish I had the link on mkiv.com. Maybe someone else can help out...
