My Autometer pillar mounted oil gauge would light up when I turn on the light switch but the needle just would not move so I could see how much oil pressure I'm getting. Has anyone here had this problem before with these brand? If so, what do I need to check? BTW, I bought the car already with the these gauges installed.

I appreciate the input. Thanks.

The needle will not move just by the light being on. Obviously the car has to be running! DOH. Also 7m runs on very low presure at idle, meaning only a few psi so it might only be slightly noticable on the gauge. Does it not move at all while driving? If you get no movement even while driving then you need to check the connection between the autometer oil pressure sender in the block and the gauge. THere is a wire that connects the two together.
