Hey folks,

Just doing my oil change and had this oil sitting in my cabinet which I toally forgot that I had. It's been sitting for about 2 years unopened/seal not broken....lol.

Just wondering if it is still "good" since it's been sitting for so long. And also if this particular brand of Amsoil is good . It's in a grey bottle (not the white they normally come in).

And would this grade (10w40) be fine as well. I have a 94 tt (stock internals w/ ross forged pistons).

Thx.

10W40 is not bad and very common here in Europe for all kind of cars. And I think also that 2 years is not that long of a period.
But where I am close to the fore-writers: If you have a cheap beater use it there and buy new stuff for your baby;)
