Its a 89 Turbo. The motor has been recently rebuilt and ever since there has been an oil leak from whhere the front oil case meets the head. It doesnt leak until it is warmed up. We have pulled the case 2 times and re siliconed all gasket surfaces. The last time we took it off we noticed that the top of it isnt perfectly flat. It bows upwards in the middle then flattens out of the sides. Is the case supposed to be shaped this way or maybe ours is bent and its not making a good flush seal with the head? Thanks!

Are you saying that the lower rear timing belt plate is higher in the center? If so, pull it and get it cut flat. Reinstall it and then check the torque on all your headbolts.. the head may be propped up on that plate.

Yes it was higher in the middle. We put a straight edge on it and there was a noticeable gap on the edges.
