Hi Everyone -

I just wanted to drop in here really quickly to let you know about our event, The Open Track Challenge. Does 7 of the best tracks on the West Coast in 7 days sound like fun? How about full day time trials at each site using the Formula One qualifying format? There are classes for trailered cars and cars that drive the entire competitive route. And, at the end of the week, a big party and awards banquet at one of the casino-hotels on Vegas's Strip. If you're interested, please visit www.opentrackchallenge.com for more information or www.nsxfiles.com where Doug Hayashi (an OTC Organizer) has laid down the gauntlet to other automotive groups.

Hope to see y'all out there!

The Vettes & Vipers are already on the board with very fast teams. Mani, Eric, or SW would round out at least one Supra team and probably go a long way in entering a Supra capable of playing with the Big Boys!

As much as I'd like to participate, there are a few days a year I can't schedule around at work, and unfortunately May 18 and 19 are two of those days (graduation at the university I work at). I'll come out and watch at Sears Point and/or Thunderhill. Hopefully, there will be enough Supra interest to field a team. It should be a lot of fun. If anybody is thinking about signing up, I know most of the guys running this event, and it should be a well run, first class event.

Sorry to hear you can't join us, Eric. There's already enough Supra interest to field a handful of cars within the first few weeks of open registration. Hopefully, you can strap on a helmet and show some of the East Coasters the line around T-hill.
