WELL THIS IS WHAT HAPPEN... I WAS RACING A WRX ON THE FREEWAY HEADING UP TO SAN DIEGO. I RACED HIM FOR ABOUT 5 MILES ON AND OFF. WHEN I GOT OFF THE FREEWAY AND TOOK THE STREETS (WITH NO STOP LIGHTS) TO MY FRIENDS HOUSE AND PARKED, I NOTICED THAT THE TEMPERATURE GUAGE WAS RISING. MY RESEVOIR TANK WAS FORCING WATER OUT OF THE THE RELEASE TUBE AND I HAD SOME SLIGHT SMOKE COMING FROM WHERE THE VALVE COVER IS AT. ( I WONDER IF I PUT TOO MUCH OIL IN THERE FROM DAYS BEFORE) ANYWAYS AFTER IT COOLED DOWN I DROVE IT HOME WITHOUT THE TEMPERATURE GUAGE RISING. WHEN I GOT HOME I NOTICED SOME WATER BEGINNING TO COME OUT OF THE RESERVOIR AGAIN. ONCE IT COOLED DOWN I TOOK OFF THE RADIATOR CAP TO SEE IF WATER WAS CIRCULATING FROM THE WATER PUMP, BUT IT WASNT. IT WAS JUST SITTING STILL IN THE RADIATOR. NOW EVERYTIME I DRIVE IT AND GET CAUGHT AT A LIGHT OR SOMETHING, THE CAR BEGINS TO GET HOT. WHAT CAN BE THE PROBLEM???
