I have an MVP (RMM clone) front lip that a friend got me for helping him install a new turbo in his SRT4 (thanks Rene). Any way... I have seen where some people have painted them black and some where they were just left plain. What is the consensus here? I can polish this thing up to look like it has been painted, but am not sure how much it will match the factory paint.

Thoughts?

Paint it. It looks rubbery and dull without paint, even when polished.

I personally like contrasts and this is one of those things that standing out should look nice. I recommend you start by testing the contrast and decide if that is the way to go, otherwise paint it but... make sure it does grab the paint.

Paint it. Other wise any scuff or imperfection will show up on the rubber finish. Plus having it painted will give the car a cleaner look.

Thanks for the input. I guess I will probably go ahead and install it later this month and take the car in to have the front mask / lip painted this summer.
