agreed! what i did is i took my old pulley and the mr2 pulley to a machine shop, and had them enlarge the hole in my pulley. works like a charm!born2drv said:make sure you have an 89+ supra pulley for that mr2 alternator. 86.5-88 shaft is a different size so that pulley won't fit. the pulley that comes on the mr2 alternator won't work either, i think the grooves are wrong or something.
