Curt,
I have a 93 Auto Single MKIV. My mechanic said that " the 2nd TPS is bad" (Where is the 2nd TPS?) and how much is the part?

Can you also list part # and prices for the IAC and gaskets associated with it please.

Thank you

Trac is Installed but as of late I have gotten a Trac/OD light.

When the light is lit it doesn't work... obviously..

Could the 2nd TPS cause a rough idle and possible stalling if its not working correctly? (Seems that would make sense on the problem that recently surfaced)

:::::::::::::problem:::::::::::::::::::::
It will run rough and if you hit the throttle it will hesitate and then the idle will drop really low if not stall. When it stalls you can tell thats its flooding the car out as there is a very evident smell of gas. Now the only thing I have even slightly noticed that when its running rough the throttle position puck doesn't follow the throttle it stays seated at the bottom. When the car warms up (It seems) the puck raises and follows the throttle.

I assume we are talking about this sensor? (Photo taken from www.mkiv.com)

The part circled is not the TRAC TPS, its the TRAC throttle motor. The TRAC TPS looks exactly like the other TPS mounted next to the TRAC Motor.

89452-22090 SENSOR, TPS TRAC LIST 91.14 COST 68.49

22270-46060 IAC VALVE LIST 421.00 COST 316.00

i dont see a sensor next to the motor in that pic....is it behind the motor and from that angle u cant see it?>

or are you sayin that black disc thing across from the throttle cable bracket is the tps and that the sub-tps (trac tps) looks identical but is located elsewhere? anyone have a good pic that can mark were the sub-tps is ??

i think curt mis-understood what i was asking but thanks rol...thats exactly what i needed.....my gf's supra is def missing that sensor when the previous owner removed the trac system......

is there a resistor setup i can do to the plug for the sub-tps so the ecu thinks its still there?

I don't know of any to be honest.. my best advice is get ahold of one of the guys who has done a Trac delete and ask them...

Also your in Bristow? I am in Woodbridge. Have I met you at one of the meets? Message me back in PM so we are not clogging Curt's section.
