Hey guys,

What do all of you hit at max boost in 1st gear? i'm hitting about 0.9 bar and around 1-1.1 in 3rd. Can I get more boost out of first or just the later gears?

Thanks,

Chris

I think that it is normal. I usually get like 0.9 bar for first gear and for every next gear I get more boost. I guess the gearing affects the load which results in different boost levels for each gear. As you switch to higher gears you should get higher boost levels.
My car:
1st gear 0.9 bar
2nd gear 1.0 bar
3rd gear 1.2 bar
4th gear 1.25 bar
5th gear 1.3 bar
6th gear (don't really know I haven't tried yet)

Sounds about right.

Depending on the weather (its damn hot in Florida),
I usually get about 1 bar in 1st, around 1.1 in 2nd and 3rd,
and right around 1.25 in 4th. In 5th, I've hit over 1.3.
Never really nailed 6th.

But what sucks is that sometime, I can't break 1.1 bar in 1st through 4th. I guess thats when its really really hot.

It would be nice to get 1.2 or 1.3 in all the gears,
but I've been told by a lot of people that this is normal for our car with the stock twins. Its lack of wastegate control, or so I've been told.

I agree! When it is hot, my car tends to have a harder time reaching boost. When it is cold, I have no problem reaching boost levels up to 1.4 and 1.5 in my higher gears. i love it when it is cold outside.:D
