Ok weel after checking to see if my crank sprocket thing was broke its going back together (kinda) so i have a few questions

first: what is this and where does it go?

Second: is the gap between the sprocket and the crank sensor normal or are they supposed to touch?

sorry about the sucky pics my cam is in the house so i had to use my phone...

I don't think they are supposed to touch otherwise the star gear will break,

as for the other peice I can't remember exactly what order it goes on the crank but it goes on the crank,

ok thanks i think it goes after the crank gear before the timing cover and balancer.....
Yep it goes after the crank pulley, between the timing cover. I don't know how many times ive had to rip a car back apart because I left this out :) Not just no, but hell no the crank sensor should not touch anything, its magnetic and reads the number of teeth on the pulley.
