Tought i could share some pics on a brutal Volkswagen Golf II -88.. Its in the beginning a 16 valve 1.8 liter engine on 136hp. Now its a 1.8 turbo engine from Audi A3 1.8T in it :) Some mods on the engine is done and as it is now it has 350+hp :bigthumb: 350hp on probably 900kg is more then enough  No traction up to 4th gear

What do you think :D

I think a bunch of people have done it already. What impressed me more was a 24V VR6 Turbo into a MKII. Or the Northstar V8 swap from way back...

Was that VR6 turbo from Sweden? It was pretty sweet, but it wasnt streetlegal. Wheres the fun then?

Btw, this one has the highest hp output on a streetlegal Golf II in Sweden.

why did you scratch out the watermark on all the pics?
The watermark is gatbilar.se if it is so important to you. it is a swedish web site for streetcars.

I think you would actually get traction if you ran on tires with sidewalls...

Dump those wheels/tires for something that would aid in the traction dept.

He has 3 tire setups, one for street, track and strip :) Still has problem to find traction.
