What is the easiest way to remove a stuck pilot bearing.

I've been prying and tugging at it for 30 minutes and it's not budging.

I think they have a tool you can rent at your local autozone that'll pull it right out.. atleast around here they to.

Pilot Bearing Removal Tool... If you cant rent it than Im sure one can be bought.

For my friend's sr20det I used a socket that fit close with the pilot bearing, packed it full of grease and stuck an extension in the end to close it off, then gave it a few sharp hits with a hammer, occasionally re-packing the hole with grease and the pilot bearing popped right out. This was after my friend and another one of his buddies were trying to get it out for 45 minutes. They looked at me as if I was some sort of god :)

Slide hammer with a bolt small enough to fit through the ID. Hook the bearing around the edge and tap it out.
