Larry... IMO yer over-reacting. And posting this request publically instead of in a PM is even more so. Sorry... yer a good guy... you don't BS anyone... so I won't BS you. Just my 2 cents.
The forum costs a lot to run... MVP gets to set the rules... and there will be a settling in period. I'm not a mod, nor do I have a desire to be one but I can see their point. Just clear stuff and life is all good. You're an asset for this forum and bailing over something like that is not worth it.

MVP has become an a$$ regarding posts including parts & other forum sites, too, so it's just not worth the hassle anymore.

I must have missed something. What happened Larry? And why did you not think you could talk to a mod or admin about it? If you want to talk to someone about it, let me know. Or at least give me some sort of explanation. I'm just curious more than anything.

·I think there's an overwhelming consensus amongst the mk3 crowd that the new rules being imposed upon us by MVP are absurd in relation to the fact that there is very little aftermarket response for our cars through MVP, and what is made available through MVP isn't as all encompassing as the products which members here make. I can understand the direction from which MVP is coming from, but they're not losing much money off of this already cheap crowd, so what gives?
Conspiracy Theory
It's an attempt made by the MK4 crowd to once and for all get rid of the mk3 crowd. I'm sure MVP is aware that A, we're the biggest part of this forum, therefore eating up the most amount of bandwidth with the least amount earnings, B, Most if not all the Mk4 crowd hold a grudge against us due to their over-weening pride and mk3 complexes they have built up over the years, and C, they know that we have plenty of other less hostile sites out there, namely supramania and 7mpower that we can always escape to and peddle our wares and chat/post to our hearts contention. So, in theory, If it weren't for MVP's recent hiring of Trent to tackle the mk3 crowd's needs, I'd say they were trying to push over the edge intentionally to up their margins and make the mk4 owners happy.

Are you trying to say that I don't have enough parts available for you? What is it that I am not providing? What would you do different if you were me?
I talk to and deal with the owners of this site and MVP on a daily basis. I assure you that no one is attempting to phase out or get rid of anyone. That is not the purpose of this. The purpose is to offset some of the costs associated with running this site and to also give sponsors a chance to make their names even more known on these forums. I for one applaud those such as SupraAng and becauseican etc that have made parts and sold them. You should all be commended for what you do. Getting permission to advertise those things is all you would have to do.
Just as an example, I am also in charge of the MR2's and Miata's for MVP. I was banned the FIRST DAY on both of those forums. All I did was say I was the MVP rep for their car and was told I couldn't advertise and was immediately banned. We are at least a little more leniant than that and will definitely work with you guys if you have things to sell etc. I am probably on this section of the forum more than any other person and pretty much know most of what goes on. If someone has a concern, complaint, comment or whatever, come talk to me. Don't just post up that you are tired of it or you want to be removed. Don't close yourself off to everyone. Come talk to one of us and see what can be done.

Sometimes it amazes me on how juvinile the members can be (including me) larry, your a senior member, dont be stupid, just cause of a few things bad happened. I am not going to say the "oh please come back" line, just, don't act all immature.
Well I dont give a shit what happened..... If Larry leaves we just lost one of the top 10 informative users on this forum. Hes actualy one of the last few i actualy respect on this forum for keeping it real and not BSing their way through these threads. Larry has been here a VERY long time. I beleive he deserves alot more than this. Larry dont leave...... If ya do im with ya. We can start up a new forum if ya want..... im getting a server this week. It will be and Invite only forum. Were we can actualy talk Supras and not BS. Trent i hear ya bud.... i know you are trying REALLY hard for the MKIII community and have for years...... dont listen to some dumbass that doesnt know anything.... we all know where you are coming from. No need to prove that... you do it every day.
