I have a really weird situation. I just got back from college today and i took the supra out for a spin. When i had left it, everything functioned fine, no malfunction lights on, etc. However, when i drove it today, the first thing i noticed was that it didn't crank on the first try, but it always cranked on the second try. The second thing i noticed was that the throttle on my S-AFC read 0% constantly, regardless of my throttle position, and it previously used to work just fine. On top of this, i get the check engine light, trac off light, and MIL come on. So i take it out for a quick drive to see what's up, and the first time i get on it... the second turbo doesn't come online. Now, it worked PERFECTLY fine before i left to college. The only thing i did was take the battery out of the car before i left to college and put it back in today. Can anyone please help me? This is beginning to turn into a nightmare.

Well start with the S-AFC. Check the wiring. Make sure the bolt that is on the ECU plug in harness is tightened down good. When I first installed my S-AFC I didn't tighten that down all the way, and my S-AFC read 0% all the time. The car wouldn't start at all in my case.
check all your fuses and make sure the battery has good contack also im sure its something small!

Well, i checked all my fuses and battery contacts, and from simple inspection nothing is wrong there. I also reset my ecu, reset my afc and reprogrammed it. Then i got to my ecu and tried to tighten down that bolt, and it would tighten, tighten, tighten, then i'd hear a click, and it would be loose again, so i tightened it down as best as i could, and tried again, and i have the exact same problems. Please help...

did you check your ECU wiring? see if you have any wire that are loose or something.

My wiring seems to be fine as well. Any other suggestions people?
I know this might sound stupid but when you took your battery out of the car did you put it on cement..I did and there is some proporty in the cement and it drans the cells in the battery dead... I was having similar problems with my car If I were you I would take battery to checker auto of auto zone have them test the battery when you have a dead or week battery alot of weird shit happens ....exact same thing happened to me and it was my altinator and my battery now my car starts right up and no light s or problems the computer in the car throughs up all kinds of weird codes when the car is not getting enough juice also if you stripped out your threads in your ecu try tightinging without making too tight and use a bigger screw just enough so that it tightens without stiping again

hope this helps you out good luck
I agree. Its probably your battery. Any chance you accidently reversed the terminals when you first replaced the battery? That could do a job on your ECU too...

I didn't put the battery on cement.. it stayed in the car, i just took the terminals off. I checked all the sauldering connections and they are all fine. The only thing that is odd is that i think the bolt connecting the ecu with all the wires is stripped... and i dunno what to do about that or if it's even doing anything.

HELP!!!!

if you can , uninstall your AFC. reset ECu, and see if its still on. if its gone, its your AFC/connection, if its still on, its your MAF/connection.
