Thinking of down sizing my T88H Greddy do too lag, for street use.
To a smaller turbo like 67mm or something similar….
I want a turbo that’s spools fast on the street to run with pump gas and at the same time capable of producing 800 RWHP to run on the strip with VP C16.
I think the SP67HO and the Garrett GT40-67MM are my best choices….
I like the SP71 GTQ but I really don’t what to have a turbo with monster lag any more… I want to make my car fun on the street again with out killing my chances on the strip to run respectable time like I do with the T88H …..
Little info on the car:
AEM EMS
Built motor
Coated JE piston 8.5 to 1 compression
Carrillo rods
Ported head
Ferrea valves 1mm over
HKS 272 cams
4L80E tranny with 4500 stall converter
NOS direct port with 120 shot ( I really don’t want to use the nitrous if I can spool the turbo fast to make good times on the strip)
