I am gonna port n polish, and port match a head and lower runners, intended for 12-18psi on a 7mgte(not nessarily stock ct26). So my question is, how much larger should i make the ports and runners. I dont entend to enlarge the entire runner. If the ports are 2 1/8" wide and 1 1/4" tall, would 2 1/4" by 1 5/16" be good enuff? More / Less ?? I intend on using the NA cams also. Hi RPM at mid range to high speed is what i am looking for from this.

The correct way to P n' P a head is with a flow bench. I really wouldn't recommend going at it with a grinding wheel unless you know what you are doing and what to expect.

For mine, i just matched the gaskets. when JBLMK3 makes 430 hp with out porting, thats a good enough for me.

That said, check out this link. It's about BMW engines, but many of the same priciples apply.
