got a shark attack two, and after reading some thread, i used a wire for the lights in the rear of the trunk to power it. assuming since a couple others used it after finding the hot wire there that it would be good.

nope, i get a bunch of static when the lights are on, its louder, but its pretty annoying

anyone know the best source to hook something like this up to without getting static or feedback to the signal? i would use my battery as a direct 12v since it is in the trunk, but not sure how well that would work???? thoughts anyone?

My thought was to run a direct line from the battery so I guess that makes two of us.
i guess if i don't get replies ill have to just tear it apart, again, and test it out and repost the results so i won't be the only one wondering if the topic comes up again.

i also emailed lo custom who sells the antenna to ask about the same thing, havent got a reply yet

Only thing that might happen when running it from the battery is you might get alternator whine...
thats what happened last time i pulled power from that source, but the battery in the trunk of my cress was hooked up different.

i already have a little whine in this radio because its older and has no extra filter on it. ill post up when i get around to it.
