You really dont need a parkbrake if the car is automatic and your not parking on some really steep incline. And do taking one side of the parking brake off . think of it like putting one bl;ock behind one wheel and not havin one on the other. its up to you . but if you do take if off take it off your side/drivers side cause it will even out the weight distibution with you in the car .
