Maybe so, but it only came with the introduction new body style mid year 1993. I don't think they had it on the 1994 and up unless you paid for an extended warranty. I own a 1993.5 premier edition with the premier edition placard pocket in the mid console. That's probably why these twin turbo cars were dealer sticker price of $52,000 here in Southern California when they first showed up in the dealer showroom,so they could cover the expense of the roadside assistance program. lol

The reason it is premier edition is because it is the first edition of the mkiv supra. It is called "premier edition" for the sole reason that it is the first year of the 4th generation supra. Hmm... how else can I say this in a more simple way? The mkiv supra "premiered" in 1993.

pre·miere or pre·mière (pr-mîr, -myâr)
n.
The first public performance, as of a movie or play.
v. pre·miered or pre·mièred, pre·mier·ing or pre·mièr·ing, pre·mieres or pre·mières
v.tr.
To present the first public performance of.
v.intr.
1. To have the first public performance.
2. To make a first appearance in a public performance.
adj.
First or paramount; premier.

All 93.5 supras are premier edition. Any car after that is obviously not the first year or "premier edition" of the mkiv supra.

ok that explains it then... nothing really special about the car other than the year and the cup holder
