Ok so I just installed a midpipe on my 94 jdm tt supra. I began to hear a scraping type sound and thought it was my heat shield vibrating or something not too serious. Me and a buddy just put on a mid pipe( both cats gone now as i had the de-cat pipe). So the car is a full 3" turbo back exhaust. Just took it out for a drive and it fucking hauls(as usual) but When i came to the light there was so much smoke i thought i had a oil leak under the hood or something(smelt like burnt oil) so I climed out the car and made sure nothing was leaking, which it wasnt. Ok, drive more....after driving it normal with minimal boost there is no smoke......but when i punch it and run 15-16psi theres clouds of smoke and smells like oil.....This is a blown turbo correct? What are the best options for me(as a university student) to get my car running healthy again and able to run boost. Either a) cheaper single kit or b) USDM turbos(how hard are they to put on and such?

Thanks,

Josh

I'm lowered, but at idle my turbo sounds like the fins would be scraping the wall or something
